Happy Monday!
Normally I'm out and about on the weekends because I hate sitting at home, but I took advantage of this rainy weather to get some much needed projects out of the way. By projects I mean do something with all the "junk" I have purchased from goodwill and ebay! To me it isn't junk though. I can see the beauty behind all the scratches and ugly paint. I have this passion to make things look pretty and that's exactly what I started doing with my bulletin boards! It all started when Adam and I decided to re-vamp our office. We both have a desk and the idea was to have a "his" side and a "hers" side. After we painted the room I realized how much storage space I lacked. One thing I wanted to show off, but wanted to do it in a stylish way was hanging my bib numbers from races I had ran so Adam handed me an old beat up bulletin board and said here ya go! So my mind started racing and I thought, "I'm going to make this pretty!" I immediately went onto Etsy to find some pretty designer fabric and then bought some coordinating ribbon. And this was the finish product:
What do you think? I would love some feedback.
