Hi! I am a Georgia girl that married a Canadian boy. I like shopping and he likes hockey.  He's a clean freak and I'm a control freak. Though we are different he is my better half. This blog journals my life being married to Adam, renovating/decorating our house and the ups and downs of raising our German Shepherd mix....she is so cute, but really bad! :)


A little about me:

I love bargain shopping and garage sales. The thrill of buying the ugly something and turning it into something pretty gives me so much adrenaline. I have learned to love DIY projects by seeing how they enhance our home.

I love decorating on a budget. Well...I would rather have a lot of money to spend, but I have learned to enjoy shopping at second hand stores and seeing what piece I can find and also seeing how to stretch a dollar.

Family is the most important thing to me. It doesn't matter the size or the extent of the family. Family is my support system and is there to make me smile when life gets the best of me.

Adam and I have a real relationship. We fight, we laugh, we cry and we love like theirs no one else in the room. We found each other by chance and have made the most of our relationship every day since that first night.

I am a strong and an opinionated woman. I always say what's on my mind when may be I should hold back. I am my mother's daughter in that regard and I love her for that. I can only hope to be half the woman she is.

I am the oldest of 4. I have a brother and two sisters and a niece. I also have a sister in-law and two brother in-laws. I also have great in-laws!  I'm a lucky girl to have such a great family.
